He is licensed to practice law in the Texas courts, including the Supreme Court of Texas, but is not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Daniel Ramirez is also admitted to practice law in federal court.

After becoming a practicing attorney, Daniel Ramirez has primarily represented clients as a trial lawyer in both civil and criminal cases, and on both sides of the docket.

His experience as a former State prosecutor and former Federal prosecutor have provided Daniel Ramirez with the unique ability to be able to better defend clients accused of State or Federal criminal charges than other lawyers who were not former prosecutors.

The experience as a former Alternate Municipal Court Judge for the City of McAllen, Texas has provided Daniel Ramirez with the insight of evaluating legal situations from a third point of view.

He is a member of the bars of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, United States District for the Western District of Texas, Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

During his 45 legal career, Daniel Ramirez served public office as an Assistant District Attorney for the County of Hidalgo and as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas. He also served as an Alternate Municipal Judge for the City of McAllen, Texas.
